  give a black screen without a internet connection

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  the installer is trying to fetch something without a connection (which
  the installer knows) and then gives a black screen.

  the installer showed that there're no internet connection.
  the black screen appears when i'm selecting the timezone.
  if the cable was unpluged the installation would be fine.
