beta1 tests suggest that this is fixed.

neither did it crash for me, so I am going to consider it fixed.

Bug description:
  Running oem-config when installing kubuntu trusty alpha 1 candidates I
  get a crash without a traceback.  However when clicking through the
  oem-config if you get to the install stage the Continue button is
  still enabled and if you click it then you get no crash.
