Have you inspected the file '/etc/apt/sources.list' at line 60 for the
error?  If not please add it to the bug report as an attachment and we
may be able to help you sort out the issue.

  Update manager crashes immediately after opening

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I typed "update-manager -d" in the console using Ubuntu 12.04. I got the following error:

  An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

  Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and
  include the following error message:

  'E:Malformed line 60 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist parse)'"

  The same thing happened when trying to manually open update-manager
  from Unity. The update-manager version is 1:0.156.14.11 (I think).
