Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I just tried to install the Intrepid RC.

It took a while to start up the partitioning step, then ended up
defaulting to resizing my sdb, which was already fully allocated as an
  NTFS file system.

My sda was already pre-partitioned with an 80 GB ntfs partition (my
existing Windows Vista installation) and an empty 80 GB ext3 partition
that I wanted to install Ubuntu on.

Firstly, I think it should have defaulted to sda.

Secondly, all the quick choices all pertained to sdb, so I had to
choose the final "Custom" (or "Manual"?) option; it should have made
it easier to use sda if it wasn't the installer's guess.
