  Install of Karmic 9.10 fails

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  32 bit  i386    desktop  will not install on  a   K7s41GX   AS-rock
  board    Athlon xp 2400     1gb RAM

  Maxtor 40GB  PATA    .

   Install begins  and hangs  at partitioning   5%    and  then  loads
  the  Live Desktop   a message  box appears    Zero disk space

  so can't  access   any applications or folders.

  The first time it left   the   O/S   that was to be overwritten in
  place.

  The second time   it left  it as free space.
