Title:
Disk partitioning fails on Desktop 9.10 beta during install
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Installing Desktop 9.10 Beta version goes nicely as long as it starts
to perform the disk partitioning. I select "use whole disk" option
with default values. It the starts the pertition showing 0% for few
seconds, then fails to text mode console and shows some error message,
which I have not been able to capture because it quickly starts the
live boot and the message is gone. The Desktop 9.04 installs fine. My
MB is Asus CUSL2 with a 30GB ATA disk (10 years old PC for just
testing).
Hopefully this is fixed in the 9.10 GA version.
