Bug description:
Dear Future Developers,
Filing against ubiquity, as I am hoping it will still be used when T LTS is going to be prepared.
This is a bug from 2012. The Microsoft Authenticode SSL certificate for signing WUBI binaries expired just after 12.04 LTS release (june). Now just before Quantal 12.10 release it got renewed. The new anniversary date is 10/6/2014, which is bad timing for LTS release as wubi will expire just after release when it's meant to be functional for 5 years.
This is a proposal to renew SSL certificate early, just before the LTS
release to maximize the time the released binaries will be valid for.
Regards,
Dmitrijs from 2012.
