[Bug 704406] Re: grub-reboot should warn that default=saved is required

Launchpad Bug Tracker 704406 at bugs.launchpad.net
Tue Jan 28 09:30:16 UTC 2014

This bug was fixed in the package grub2 - 2.02~beta2-5

---------------
grub2 (2.02~beta2-5) experimental; urgency=medium

  * Add a number of EFI debugging commands to the signed image (lsefi,
    lsefimmap, lsefisystab, lssal).
  * Add gfxterm_background to the signed image so that background_image
works in UEFI Secure Boot mode. Thanks to syscon-hh for the report.

Title:
grub-reboot should warn that default=saved is required

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

It appears that grub-reboot only works with default=saved, and
therefore using it should warn the user if default is not set to
  "saved".
