There are probably several methods to make this work. One is described
here: http://support.gpgtools.org/kb/faq/networked-home-broken. Or your
can use a configuration option either on the command line or via
gpg.conf to set up the location of the secret keyring and store that on
the encrypted partition. Also using --homedir or exporting GNUPGHOME
with the location to the .gnupg directory should work. I'm therefor
closing this report. Please feel free to reopen it, if you still think,
you hit a bug.

[.... answering questions ....]
[.... some waiting ....]
gpg: lock not made: link() failed: Opération non permise
gpg: can't lock `/home/me/.gnupg/pubring.gpg'
gpg: lock not made: link() failed: Opération non permise
gpg: can't lock `/home/me/.gnupg/secring.gpg'
gpg: erreur durant l'écriture du porte-clés public `/home/me/.gnupg/pubring.gpg': erreur générale
La génération de clé a échoué: erreur générale
Of course, it works fine if I put back the .gnupg dir in my home
directory.
