Public bug reported:
I have not installed ubuntu on my computer yet, this bug presents during
installation. I'm installing the 64bit version of Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 on
ASUS U53JC. Installation crashes after disk partition configuration. The
attempted configuration is for a dual boot with windows 7, a separate
/boot partition (512MB) and an encrypted (LUKS+ext4) partition for root
(69GB). No problem presents in this steps but as soon as I get to the
next one (location selection) the installer crashes. This is the second
time this happened. Same circumstances. I'm installing from a bootable
usb drive (created with unetbootin) I have used the onboard tool to
check the installation medium for errors.
