Title:
plymouthd crashed with SIGSEGV in script_obj_deref_direct()
Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I initially created a file /etc/xorg.conf with a typo in Driver and restarted:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Graphics"
Drive "Intel"
Option "DRI" "False"
EndSection
which naturally brought me to a blinking cursor in the top left. After
booting into recovery mode, fixing the typo, and restarting, a
plymouth crash notification appeared.
