Title:
Unable to transfer data from one OS to new install from Live session
  as user

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

In the Live session I am not permitted to transfer data from an
installed OS to the new installation with out being the Super User.

This is just silly. I would like the old nautilus behavior back in
the Live session to make setting up a new install easier. Yes I can
boot to the new install and do this.

I multi boot and may well be doing several installs at once, going
from CD to CD. I need to be able to copy/paste to several
  installations at once with ease.
