Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Grub2 menu was not updated when I installed new kernel in Ubuntu Saucy
  64bit. I removed all previous kernels believing the menu would be
  updated but it was not the case, so my system was in a non-bootable
  state. The same problem was evident for Ubuntu 12.04 but I executed
  grub-update command.
