[Bug 1327631] [NEW] installer does not launch GUI live session LXDE

Public bug reported:

To reproduce go into a live session and then try to launch ubiquity in
utopic lubuntu i386 in virtualbox using testdrive. I waited for an hour
while I took a walk for the ubiquity window to show up. and it did not
launch. The ubiquity process starts and will tell you it is already
running and show up in pgrep. but the GUI never appears.
