Hi guys, I am comming from Windows and do not know, neither would like
to know, how to fix the problem out of the graphic environment, terminal
line commands. Does this makes me un fit to use Ubuntu?

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Kubuntu 6.06 live-cd installation failed because the installer closed
  itself after entering user data. There are no error messages and I
  can't locate a log file for the install script otherwise I'd provide
  more data.

  The system is an HP ze4145 laptop (AMD 1800+, 512MB RAM, Radeon
  IGP320M, 40G hard drive, DVD/CD-RW combo drive).

  Potential workaround: I've downloaded the "install" cd and will try
  that tonight.
