Bug description:
  I installed Ubuntu from a DVD Rom I had prepared after downloading UBUNTU.iso from the official italian Ubuntu web site.
  After the first installation it was not possible to open neithe Ubuntu neithe Win XP. The following message appeared: "Gub rescue"
  I was trying to correct using information collected via intenet about the grub language 8i.e.ls (hdX,Y)/ but it did not run.
  So I decided to reinstall Ubuntu from the DVD Rom choosing the option: Cancel previous version and reinstall Ubuntu, but at a certain point the loader crashed
