** Changed in: update-manager (Ubuntu Saucy)
   Importance: Undecided => High

** Description changed:

  Test Case:
  1) run python /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/DistUpgrade/DistUpgradeApport.py
- 2) notice a failed to import apport python module
+ 2) notice a failed to import apport python module error message
+
+ With the package from -proposed you should receive a "Crash report"
+ dialog saying that 'do-release-upgrade has stopped unexpectedly'. Do
+ not submit the crash report.

  This is because ubuntu-release-upgrader doesn't depend on python-apport
  and it is no longer depended on by anything else. I mean that package
  used to be installl on most Ubuntu systems because apport or ubuntuone-
  client depended on it.
