Title:
Only a partial boot.log is recorded
Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Bug description:
  I did 4 reboots in a row.
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 312 Mar 12 17:17 boot.log-1
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1438 Mar 12 17:18 boot.log-2
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1492 Mar 12 17:18 boot.log-3
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1512 Mar 12 17:20 boot.log-4
Files attached, notice how widely different in size and usefulness
they are. None of them appear to have a /complete/ boot.log
Maybe plymouth is not connecting to upstart early enough?
