Title:
file system inconsistencies after installing 9.10 on USB device
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired
Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity
I have tried to install 9.10 alpha 6 on a 8 GB USB stick. During the
installation process no problems of failures have been reported by the
installer. It has been looking like a successful install. After
rebooting the computer the boot menu was shown. But instead of
starting up the normal mode of 9.10 the system reported unfixable
inconsistencies of the file system on the USB stick. The system was
not able to start up but provided a maintennance shell.
