Title:
with nautilus works, with rsync doesn't

Status in “rsync” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rsync

When I try to backup a folder from hd to pendrive using Nautilus, it works.
When I try to sync a folder from hd to pendrive using rsync, I get the error message:

  sudo rsync -a /home/deltrem/repositories --delete /media/KINGSTON/repositories
rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes to socket [sender]: Broken pipe (32)
  rsync: mkdir "/media/KINGSTON/repositories" failed: Input/output error (5)
rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at main.c(595) [Receiver=3.0.7]
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (9 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(601) [sender=3.0.7]

  Why? How to solve?
