Title:
bash-static prompt: 'I have no name!@server' vs. bash prompt:
'user at server'
Status in “bash” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
After a "dist-upgrade" from saucy to trusty,
bash-static's prompt incorrectly reads 'I have no name!@server',
whereas bash's (and also zsh's) prompt correctly reads 'user at server'.
Packages:
> $ dpkg -l|grep bash
> ii bash 4.3-2ubuntu1 amd64 GNU Bourne Again SHell
> ii bash-completion 1:2.1-2ubuntu3 all programmable completion for the bash shell
> ii bash-static 4.3-2ubuntu1 amd64 GNU Bourne Again SHell (static version)
This did not happen with bash-static 4.2-5ubuntu3 on saucy.
