I attempted to repair the boot with https://help.ubuntu.com/community
/Boot-Repair

Went with recommended repair, it then asked me to copy n paste a few
lines of code into a terminal and got the attached error message.

On reboot grub loaded ok, but Ubuntu eventually gave up trying to start
and I got the INTRAMFS command line.
