Public bug reported:

Installing the new trusty thar 14.04 Ubuntu version, I've done like most people having a NAS do : I have populated /etc/fstab with some share to access on my network. I use nfs (nfs-common) in my environment.

If the local directory mentioned in /etc/fstab contains accent (it's an example, i didn't test with other special character), my next boot end in crash (black screen)
for example /mnt/café or /media/café are a very bad ideas
(I'm french, sorry, this is why I usually use accent in directory label)

In a recovery session, it ends with a strange message telling the system
can not locate my main disk /dev/sdax (which is a false error message)
and then give me a prompt on busybox (that doesn't help me a lot...)

I think a correct way will be to end the mount in progress, telling it
doesn't work for a reason or another, and then go to next line of
/etc/fstab

(I've turn around this bug during 4 days before I understand what
happens... the same error occurs in other flavours like xubuntu or
kubuntu, and install ubuntu about 10 times before manage to going
through...grrrr)

** Affects: util-linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
