Just found out that doing a sudo apt-get update also throws a message.
Not sure whether it is related but here it is:

GPG-error:   public key could not be verified because it is not
available.

W: GPG-fout: http://ppa.launchpad.net trusty Release: De volgende

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  trying to upgrade from 14.04 to 14.10 by update-manager I got a
  message to report a bug through  ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-
  core.
