Bug description:
This is probably some new incarnation of bug #1112878. I see that
utopic has syslinux 6.03~pre18 while trusty had 4.05 (same as
precise).
1. Download http://fi.releases.ubuntu.com/14.04.1/ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso
2. Use Ubuntu's live USB creator to write to an USB stick
3. Try the "test" mode (qemu) or boot your system into it.
