Not a bug with the upgrade process, but rather with the system after the
upgrade.

  Screen freezes up

Bug description:
  upgraded from 14.05 to 14.10 
  now, when booting up, every once in awhile the screen will show 'internal error.....broken pipe

  after system come up ...screen freeze randomly. have to use the reset
  button to reboot
