[Bug 1392097] [NEW] Pressed UPGRADE on newly-upgraded Xubuntu (trying to get to very latest LTS)

I was a few versions back.  Clicked UPGRADE in the Update Manager last
night to get to 12.04.5.  Trying to get to 14.x.  Instead, got error
saying "unable to calculate" the update.
