Utopic release should have been delayed until this was fixed, but that's
never allowed to happen.

Ubuntu is really losing fans fast with things like this continuing
release after release, and new users do not understand why Linux is so
great when they see something like this.

Bug description:
  Attempted to install icedtea-7-plugin on Ubuntu MATE Remix and
  received this error. Looks like an upstream bug from the Ubuntu MATE
  team, but seems to affect other users as well. Has been reported via
  IRC on Freenode #ubuntu-mate as also existing in Ubuntu GNOME 14.04
  Trusty.
