Confirming here, too. Now the cursor keys "just" cause their escape
sequence to be printed out, but you can't move around any more.

  util-linux version: 2.20.1-1ubuntu3.1
  Switch to tty. Press any arrow key. Cursor has been moved. You may type and replace labels or write own text.
  getty should not allow move cursor out of login field.
