So - I tried it now with my production pc.
Same result.
Started with the upgrade of my trusty 12.04.5 LTS
Upgrade:
- was disabling old repos = ok
- Enabling new repos ... and then = error message
(I have to translate from german to english sorry)
"It could not be determined which uprades are available. "
"An unresolvable problem occured while calculating the upgrade. This can
be caused by: *Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu *Running the
current pre-release version of Ubuntu *Unofficial software packages not
provided by Ubuntu. .... "
The problem is: I do not know if I have "unofficial software packages"
installed. And why did it happen on my other machine too? I do not
assume that I have installed "unofficial" software on 2 machines. It
might happen once to try sth.
Is there a chance I can find out which package this could be???
