Can you describe what exactly is occurring here? Does the installer
boot? Try assigning more disk space to your virtual machine.

You are also running an old version of virtualbox; try updating it and
see if the problem still occurs.

  Unable to install Ubuntu14.10 on Virtualbox

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I am unable to install Ubuntu 14.10(64-bit PC(AMD64)desktop image on
  my virtualbox. My hostmachine is Kubuntu14.04 runing a virtualbox
  version- 4.3.10-ubuntur93012. Inside my virtualbox i have assigned
  Memory size 7646 MB, and virtual hard drive is 8GB.While installing i
  was having this error message on my screen "Failed to access perfect
  msr (MSR c0010004 is 0)" also "SMBus base address uninitialized -
  upgrade BIOS or use force_addr=0xaddr" then it prompted that it has
  insufficent disk space to get install.
