[Bug 1448002] [NEW] Desktop versions of 14.04LTS no longer support kickseed

Public bug reported:

The move to Casper has dropped support for kickseed. There is no 'anna'
application nor any of the helper scripts in the installer initrd.

The server version is still OK but not much use when trying to do a
hands free install of a desktop without downloading nearly 1gig of deb
files.

Note that https://help.ubuntu.com/community/KickstartCompatibility makes
no mention of this very useful facility being dropped or being
restricted to server only.
