  Could not calculate the upgrade

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When trying to upgrade to from Ubuntu 10.4 LTS I receive the following
  error for which I do not know what it means or how to fix it.
  'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be
  caused by held packages.' The update manager said to report this bug.
