Your EFI system partition is corrupt; you will need to repair it with
dosfsck, or chkdsk in Windows.

** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  ubuntu won't install. Error message states "GRUB install failed,
  Ubuntu won't be able to boot."

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  After the first install (ubuntu 14.04LTS), it worked well. After a
  reboot, I couldn't get to GRUB to choose between ubuntu or windows. I
  reinstalled ubuntu, but that did help, or change my problem. I
  attempted a boot loader repair program and now it seems to be worse.
  I'm on a Lenovo G50, AMD8 running Windows 10.
