Title:
git bash completion is noisy when removed but not purged

Status in git package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in git package in Debian:
  Unknown

Bug description:
When git is removed but not purged, the following message is printed
  on every bash login:

bash: /usr/lib/git-core/git-sh-prompt: No such file or directory

The reason is that /etc/bash_completion.d/git-prompt unconditionally
  sources /usr/lib/git-core/git-sh-prompt

Please consider adding some safeguard to suppress the error message.
