  [xenial] daily server image - no network after install

Status in debian-installer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The network interface is found and works fine during the installation
  process. However, upon re-boot at the end of the installation, there
  is no network. The /etc/network/interfaces file looks fine.

  The system is dual boot, so I might be able to extract and post
  potentially useful information from my 14.04.3 server on another
  partition.

  Note that the server daily used to work, but I can only narrow it down
  to 2015.11.30 worked and 2015.12.11 does not.
