Bug description:
  I was installing Steam for Ubuntu 12.04 on a x64 version of Ubuntu,
  think that Steam did not foresee that there could be users using an
  x64 platform. Please help upgrading Steam to use an x64 platform, or
  Ubuntu 12.04 so it can use 32-bit libraries.
