  software updater hangs while updating samba-common

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  software updater becomes unresponsive when attempting to update samba-
  common. This problem has occurred on both virtual and physical
  machines. The unresponsive software updater window becomes grayed and
  contains the message "Configuring samba-common".
