Public bug reported:
This is a new install and my first time trying ubuntu. I was trying to update my nvidia drivers which requires root. In the terminal window it said that root was not installed and I could install it by running sudo....
While that was running I jumped onto the ubuntu software center to get 7zip. Might have trying installing it before root was done.
