Is this only with PPC? Can anyone confirm on any other arch? Is anything
active? Someone should run `top` and see what's going on.

Title:
ubiquity does not split and resize partitions when told to

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When told to instal the new system along side the old system, a window
pops up where the new and old partitions can be sized. Ubiquity seems
to do nothing after that, it just sits there with the disc mouse
pointer spinning. Checking with Menu->Accessories->Disks shows that
the old partitioning remains unchanged even after many minutes.
