[Bug 1425287] [NEW] LVM on Disk and Having to reinstall, CRASH

Public bug reported:

Trying to use LVM with LITTLE success.

Ubuntu is Friendlier than Fedora for what I want to do, including
allowing LVM to be allowed across all disc types installed in the
system. (4 devices all running under LVM installed AT BOOT time - not
after -- Ubuntu will ONLY install LVM at boot on ONE Device.)

When LVM installed under Fedora - Ubuntu hangs on install going from
Erase and Reinstall to Disk Selected Install. The only way out of this
is to get back in Fedora and restore normal partitions.

Fedora had removed the partitioning on the Boot device, but an LVM
partition existing on a second disc. I tried reinstalling Ubuntu, and I
got this crash

LVM across all versions of Linux, so long as all are of the same version
of LVM, SHOULD NOT MATTER WHO CREATED IT OR WHAT ITS NAME IS - THE Linux
being booted should understand and USE it if present

Fedora is more advanced in this area as a LVM created under Ubuntu
appears to be FULLY usuable by Fedora

Ubuntu 14.10 64bit

Please fix this so that reinstalls are easier
