I typed aptitude update using the new sources just to see what the
conflicts are using the new sources. I get this error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

 python3-cupshelpers : Breaks: python-cupshelpers (< 1.5.0+20140805-0ubuntu3) but 1.4.3+20140219-0ubuntu2.2 is installed.

Title:
  cannot upgrade 14.10 from 14.04

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

   This can be caused by:
   * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
   * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
   * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command
  'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal.

I have emptied sources.list.d and verify sources.list only has
ubuntu/canonical sources but the error persists.
