I have already made some preliminary work on my own development tree :

-  preliminary support for strict UDF 2.50 done (some TODO still remain in metadata partition handling).
-  bluray-video option added
-  assigns weights of files done

I post this bug and my work here in case someone is interrested to help me to terminate this.
Too much projects and too little time to work on this one since 2012-05-24.

Bug description:
  Actually, there is no write support for UDF formatted discs in Linux
  - kernel only make disc up to UDF 2.0 
  - genisoimage only support minimal mixed UDF/ISO9660 for dvd-video
