我觉得comment#9的说法有道理，网络图标处的翻译应该与ubiquity的代码无关。

目前用最新的15.04的daily iso测试，bug中反馈的网络连接没有翻译的问题应该已经解决，默认是中文。

Bug description:
  If you select your language at the boot menu, it is applied system
  wide.  If you instead select your language within ubiquity, only
  ubiquity switches to the new language, leaving things like network
  manager untranslated.  The setting should be applied system wide.
