Title:
grub2 start up parameters
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Installing the last Karmik 9.10 beta Rev 3 on a DELL Inspiron the noapic parameters, specified as usual with F6, is not replicated inside grub2 parameters and the OS don't boot. I'm talking about a fresh installation, not an upgrade. Grub2 parameters (I verify them booting from a live CD) in grub.cfg are ro splash quiet.
Specifying the noapic parameter, while booting with the live cd, all work correctly.
