Title:
doxygen prints lots of annoying debug messages

Status in doxygen package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in doxygen package in Debian:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: doxygen

  From debian bug <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
  bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=451174>:

"When running Doxygen I get loads (100s) of lines with just this
  content:

  format: png, adding :gd
  format: cmap, not adding anything
  format: png, adding :gd
  format: cmap, not adding anything
  format: png, adding :gd
  format: cmap, not adding anything
  format: png, adding :gd
  format: cmap, not adding anything
  format: png, adding :gd
  format: cmap, not adding anything

  in stderr.

Very annoying if you try to catch if there are (serious) warnings given
  by Doxygen..."

I am also experiencing this problem. A proposed solution is available
in the Debian bug report, but nobody has acted upon it yet.
