Title:
installer for lubuntu keeps crashing when copying files over to hard
drive
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
tried to straight "install lubuntu" continuously from the beginning
menu instead of "try lubuntu" but would always have the system
hanging, kernal panic, or something else. i was able to get this far
after selecting "install lubuntu" again and it showed an error message
saying that the installer crashed, but will direct me to the desktop
to check what happened. it finally throws up the desktop for the first
time in, i guess, "live" mode. from there i clicked on install lubuntu
14.10 where i was able to get to the final step where it would
starting copying over files onto the hard drive, beginning the
installation, but would crash again.
