Public bug reported:

Ubuntu installer started automatically after I confirmed I wanted a
system restore USB. (It is not clear if ythe system resure USB was
created - there is no feedback). Installer crashes with a popup "We are
sorry, the installer has crashed" and further information that I could
not retain. The automatic bug reporter books it as a ubiquity bug.
