Ok, thanks for checking. Then we know that 15.04 is affected at least.

The fix for bug 1182784 is supposed to be in a newer version of
Ubiquity. Strictly speaking, that is available in -updates in 15.04,
though I don't believe the isos have been updated since the original
release. So I think that would still have the bug anyways.

However, I tried with a daily snapshot of kubuntu wily werewolf, from
[2]. This iso contained ubiquity 2.21.27 which is supposed to contain
the fix. With that, I did not get a crash when selecting Switzerland in
the drop-down menu. Could someone please double-check that it is no
longer possible to trigger the crash? If so, it would mean that the
issue is fixed for the upcoming 15.10.

(In addition to the daily build mentioned, the first alpha is supposed
to be released shortly[3]. It mentions "for opt-in flavors", though I'm
not sure whether this includes Kubuntu or not)
