This is no more a supported version; and grub legacy upstream is also
stopped, only receiving possible random fixes locally

** Changed in: grub (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  Upgrade to 9.04 fails to boot - doesn't update grub menu

Status in grub package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Starter was fully updated 8.10. / was RAID 1 on /dev/md0. After
  upgrading, the machine drops into busybox with a message that it
  cannot find /dev/md0 in order to mount /.

  Grub appears to not have been updated at all, and only has references
  to 2.6.27-11 and earlier kernels. 2.6.27-11 is the kernel that will
  no longer boot. Updating menu.lst by hand allows booting into the new
  kernel.
